I’m Michael Elliot but most people call me Mikey, and I’m an associate here at Salon Mercury. I enjoy all forms of creativity. If I’m not working at the salon I’m usually at home drawing or trying to write my book. I love studying the nature and beautiful imperfections of humanity through the arts.

I’m a big fan of Studio Ghibli movies, but I have a special place in my heart for all animation. I listen to a lot of different genres of music but my all time favorites are 80s goth and 70s psychedelic rock.

What is your favorite part of being a stylist?

My favorite part about doing hair is giving people a safe space to freely express themselves and seeing them smile and feel confident after the service.
